SANBAG Local Stimulus Program
On July 1, 2009, the Board of Directors approved a $31. 4 million Local Stimulus Program (LSP) for the Local Agencies (cities, towns, and county). Projects can be submitted to SANBAG beginning September 1, 2009 and will be accepted until September 1, 2010. The Agencies will have 36 months to complete the project from the date of the LSP Allocation Letter.
Local Stimulus Program eligible projects mirror the eligible projects defined in the Measure I 2010-2040 Strategic Plan for Local Streets Programs. Projects must be for identified roads and streets and not for general categorical programs. All projects must be submitted for approval before becoming eligible for reimbursement via Form 90. Please refer to your Project Allocation Letter and the Local Stimulus Program Procedures for further information.
Several projects have already been submitted and completed under the auspices of this program.
Reimbursement for eligible projects is limited to every 30 days, with requests via Form 91. Please refer to the Local Stimulus Program Procedures for the necessary attachments.
