The DMO also actively participates in and encourages the endeavors of the Inland Empire Regional Data/GIS Council (IERDC). The IERDC is a collaboration of local jurisdictions in San Bernardino and Riverside counties focused on the effective collection, preparation and sharing of spatial data.

The Inland Modeling Center, maintained by SCAG, works collaboratively with SANBAG on a variety of transportation planning and analysis activities. Current demographic forecasts eveloped by SCAG and SANBAG are used to forecast travel demand. SANBAG also maintains a traffic monitoring program for San Bernardino County.
